Jennifer Brozek Editor, Author, Publisher, Podcaster, and more!

Jennifer Brozek is the optimistic, multitalented author of Never Let Me Sleep, and The Last Days of Salton Academy. Her BattleTech tie-in novel, The Nellus Academy Incident, won a Scribe Award. Her editing work has earned her nominations for the British Fantasy Award, the Bram Stoker Award, and the Hugo Award as well as won her the Australian Shadows Award for Grants Pass. She has worked in the publishing industry since 2004 and manages a small press. Her multimedia accomplishments include work on the Aion Online MMORPG, the Shadowrun Returns videogame, and the Five Minute Stories and ShadowBytes podcasts.


Steve Lieber Comic Illustrator and Author

Eisner Award winning comic illustrator best known for work on Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen and Whiteout. Since his debut in 1991, he has contributed to comic franchises such as Conan, Twilight Zone, Batman, Harley Quinn, Superman, and Spider-man. Lieber co-founded the Portland creative space Helioscope and is passionate about helping to develop the next generation of comics artists through portfolio reviews and mentorship.


Chuck Lukacs Game Illustrator, Character Designer, and Author

While most often recognized for his Magic: The Gathering cards, his illustrations are also featured in many Dungeons & Dragons books. As an illustration professor at Pacific Northwest College of Art, he taught character design courses, and continues to pursue ways to inspire others to practice creative exercises. Lukacs is the creator of the online concept generator Fantasy Genesis, and author of its companion drawing technique book, Fantasy Genesis Characters: A Creativity Game for Drawing Original People and Creatures.

  • This option will give you a brief pop up. Staff must be registered solo, without adding a second person to the order, as it is marked under wait list and is available by approval of application or verification of current staff status. Staff members earn this year's badge and may receive perks such as a staff tee, staff hotel room rates, staff swag, staff dinners, staff retreat, and other community and comradery building events, with the expectation that they contribute 12+ hours total while performing role duties to the best of their ability. We ask that you keep your badge name short, under 15 characters long, so that it fits within the parameters of the badge in large, bold text, so that it is easily visible for use, without squinting to read, unlike this line of fine print.
